The
Alamo Radio Control
Society, Incorporated (ARCS)
is a non-profit organization chartered by the ACADEMY OF MODEL
AERONAUTICS (AMA), and were formed to:

Encourage
and promote (in every way possible) the design, construction, and
operation of Radio Control Model Airplanes (and Helicopters)
-
Provide for and regulate contests, events and
exhibitions for Radio Control Model Airplanes
-
Initiate a perpetual ground and flying safety
program
-
Provide
help and encouragement to young people in the building and operating of
models
-
Obtain
and maintain a site for flying radio controlled model aircraft

has stepped down as Newsletter editor and we welcome Les Freund as our
new editor and chief of the Newsletter. Please ensure that you thank
Rick for all the time and effort he put into the Newsletter and Welcome
Les with open arms and help him out in anyway you can. Sept
Newsletter has been added to the website.

July an Aug. Newsletters sorry that they were not posted earlier. Also
Rick is asking that someone step up and take over the Editor position.
He has done a great job over the last two years and feels it is time to
give the reins over to someone else. We should all ensure that Rick
recieves our thanks for his commitment over the last two years.

Several folks have expressed interest in purchasing used
equipment. Since our For Sale and Wanted pages aren't working
yet, I'll list the info here:
Charlie Harnett is looking for a used trainer and looking for an
instructor and more info on learning to fly and build RC plances
