The Alamo Radio Control Society, Incorporated (ARCS) is a non-profit organization chartered by the ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS (AMA), and were formed to:
  • Encourage and promote (in every way possible) the design, construction, and operation of Radio Control Model Airplanes (and Helicopters)
  • Provide for and regulate contests, events and exhibitions for Radio Control Model Airplanes
  • Initiate a perpetual ground and flying safety program
  • Provide help and encouragement to young people in the building and operating of models
  • Obtain and maintain a site for flying radio controlled model aircraft
    •
